The major reason this might happen is if you have the &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/jetpack.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">JetPack by WordPress<\/a>&#8221; plugin installed and its photon feature enabled.<\/p>\n<p>The JetPack by WordPress plugin is used by most sites to enhance the web experience for your clients. When enabled, the <a href=\"https:\/\/jetpack.com\/support\/site-accelerator\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Photon feature<\/a> (now a part of what is called the Site Accelerator) requires that all images be uploaded from a secured server.
