The Visual Product Configurator Upload Image Addon allows the customer to upload one or multiple pictures on his custom product which will show up on the preview area.<\/p>\n

We have updated the process for adding the Custom Upload Add on functionality to your Visual Product Configurator plugin, to make it easier for you to implement. To allow your customers to add uploads as they design their custom product, you have to first create an \u2018Upload component\u2019. Please follow the following steps:<\/p>\n

  1. Click the \u2018Upload Component\u2019 submenu under the \u2018Product Builder\u2019 menu.

  2. Click the \u2018New upload component\u2019 button at the top of the page.

  3. Add a title for the upload component.<\/li>\n
  4. Fill the other fields for the component and publish\/save.

  5. Open the (or create a new) configuration that you want to add the upload feature to.<\/li>\n
  6. Click \u2018add component\u2019 and choose \u2018Upload field\u2019 in the \u2018Behaviour\u2019 column for the new component.\"Upload[Upload field Behaviour Selection]<\/li>\n
  7. Click \u2018Manage options\u2019 for the component. In the popup that shows on your screen, click \u2018Add option\u2019.<\/li>\n
  8. Add a name for the option (very compulsory), and select the upload component you created from steps 1 to 4.

  9. The other fields are optional and you can add content if you need to e.g. description.<\/li>\n
  10. Click outside the popup and publish\/update your configuration.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Multiview image upload<\/h3>\n

    You can also upload different views of your uploaded image. To do this:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Under component \u201cBehavior\u201d select the \u201cmultiple views upload\u201d option.<\/li>\n
    • Click on \u201cManage options\u201d and fill in the boxes.<\/li>\n
    • Add name, price, image positions, width, height.<\/li>\n
    • And \u201cUpdate\u201d your configuration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
