Overview<\/h2>\n

The Visual Product Configurator Request A Quote Addon allows the customer to request a quote about a customized product from the store, and purchase later if needed.<\/p>\n

Extra Setup<\/h2>\n

In order to get this add-on work after normal installation, follow the next steps:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. You need to activate the configurator by choosing \u201cYes\u201d on \u201cActivate Request a quote\u201d option under \u201cConfigurator Settings\u201d for the Visual Product Configurator plugin.<\/li>\n
  2. On your product configuration page the \u201c Request a quote\u201d option will be displayed under the configuration page.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Now there two types of forms:<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. The Simple or Default form: is the form that is displayed after the activation of the \u201cRequest a quote\u201d add-on.<\/li>\n
    2. The Custom form: is the form that you create and customize yourself.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      To set up a Custom form:<\/p>\n

        \n
      1. You need to install the \u201cOrion form builder\u201d plugin. (Refer to the FORM BUILDER ADDON<\/a> page).<\/li>\n
      2. After installing the \u201cForm builder\u201d, go to the WordPress Admin Panel > Product Builder > Form Builder.<\/li>\n
      3. Create a new form, by filling in all the required boxes.<\/li>\n
      4. Go back to the \u201c configuration settings\u201d page and select the form you want to display in the \u201cRequest a quote popup\u201d.<\/li>\n
      5. Click on \u201cupdate\u201d to save your configuration.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        <\/span><\/i><\/i><\/i>Add Shop Managers<\/h3>\n

        The customers’ quotes must be sent to an admin or to the shop manager. If there are many shop managers, their emails can be added in the Visual Product Configurator settings.
        \nTo add emails, click on the menu Product Builder > Settings to access the settings page.<\/p>\n

          \n
        1. Go to the last section of the settings page, then add the emails separated by comma inside the \u201crecipients emails\u201d box.<\/li>\n
        2. Add the name of the sender that will be displayed in the \u201cmail sender\u2019s name\u201d box.<\/li>\n
        3. Click on save to keep your changes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          You also have the possibility to add the configurator price on the configurator page and to add the \u201cadd to cart\u201d button on the configurator page on the \u201cSettings\u201d page.<\/p>\n
